• Seven creatures to choose from. Each has its favourite kinds of horror and is drawn in cross-hatched ink, with colour only in its eyes and its fed belly.
• Feeding with horror films, horror books, news, your own fears and things that happened.

  • Online, films come from Wikidata, with their genres. Books come from Fantlab and Open Library, with Google Books as a fallback.

• Traits grow from the horror fed most: a top hat, twig antlers, tentacles, long wet hair, stitches, a scar, a crack.
• The graveyard. Every film and book gets a grave, its stone matches its genre, and it can carry your epitaph. The moon above it is the real moon.
• The night watch. Name tonight's fears, the screen becomes a night light, and in the morning comes a report with the cores of the fears. An optional evening reminder.
• Film night. The pet watches with you and counts your jumps by the accelerometer or a button, then writes a review.
• Special nights: 3 a.m., the full moon, Halloween, Friday the 13th. A hungry pet falls asleep in the wardrobe instead of dying.
