This file describes observations of properties of African Easterly Waves, which are weather systems that move from east to west across Africa and into the Atlantic. Each weather system is treated as an independent trajectory, and a number of properties along each trajectory are recorded. This file makes use of a packing scheme that allows for efficient storage of trajectories of different lengths.
