Chef теперь сам объясняет AI-агентам, как с ним работать. Команда chef help agent печатает справку в Markdown: что такое расширение и как устроены имена, что умеет chef и какие особенности его поведения важно учитывать, а также все команды с опциями, коды ошибок и оглавление документации. Правил работы справка не навязывает — их задаёт проект в своих инструкциях и в chef.config. Команды, опции и коды ошибок генерируются из самого chef, поэтому справка всегда соответствует установленной версии. Английская документация теперь входит в npm-пакет, и справка ссылается на её файлы, так что агенту не нужен доступ в интернет. Команда chef init agents добавляет в AGENTS.md проекта (и в существующий CLAUDE.md) короткий блок, который отправляет агента к chef help agent; после обновления chef запускать её повторно не нужно. chef help <команда> теперь показывает все опции команды и её подкоманд — раньше выводилась только строка описания.

Chef now explains to AI coding agents how to work with it. chef help agent prints a Markdown guide: what an extension is and how names work, what chef can do and which aspects of its behavior matter, plus every command with its options, the error codes and the documentation index. The guide imposes no working rules — those are up to the project, in its own instructions and in chef.config. Commands, options and error codes are generated from chef itself, so the guide always matches the installed version. The English documentation now ships inside the npm package, and the guide points to its files, so the agent needs no internet access. chef init agents adds a short block to the project's AGENTS.md (and to an existing CLAUDE.md) that sends agents to chef help agent; there is no need to rerun it after updating chef. chef help <command> now shows every option of a command and its subcommands — previously it printed only the description line.
