Full nhentai API v2 migration — nhentai.net rewrote its site as a SvelteKit SPA backed by a JSON /api/v2/* REST API; the app's entire netcode layer has been rewritten to match. Browsing, search, tags, random gallery, and favorites/random-favorite now query the JSON API directly instead of scraping HTML
- Auth model updated to match: Authorization: User <access_token> header, no more CSRF token scraping
- Favorite/unfavorite and comment fetching confirmed working against the new API
Redesigned with Material You — the entire app has been rebuilt on Material 3, seeded from the app's own brand color
- Dynamic color support on Android 12+, with a "System default" light/dark option
- Edge-to-edge layout across every screen, a proper splash screen, and predictive back gesture support
- Toolbars, cards, chips, and progress bars migrated to their Material 3 counterparts
Android 16 support — target/compile SDK bumped to 37
Cosmetic rename to NClientV3 — app display name only; package ID is unchanged, so this update installs in place with no re-login required
Dependency updates and removal of deprecated API usage across the codebase

Fixed galleries failing to load due to nhentai's changed page/API structure
Fixed toolbar titles getting clipped at the top of the screen on edge-to-edge layouts
Fixed gallery tag chips incorrectly showing a removable/selectable close icon
Fixed cramped dialog layouts under edge-to-edge insets

Tag blacklist toggling and torrent/gallery download still hit old, now-dead API endpoints and are not yet migrated to /api/v2 — expect these two features to be broken in this beta

This is a beta release. The app ID has not changed since 3.1.0-beta, so no re-login is needed this time.
