You should use the recommended Reolink configuration for your doorbell: https://docs.frigate.video/configuration/camera_specific/#reolink-cameras |

Quite sure we have the same issue @skatingrocker . Reolink Duo 3 for me. in all chrmium based browsers this fails. mostly, kinda. the recording loads a certain timeframe and then stalls for everything further in the past. been trouble shooting by shoving my logs down claude's throat and got a few pointers. by no means should anyone trust anything of this but it might be helpful for further troubleshooting/debugging: So the issue seems to lie with the variable framerate set for the streams of the camera and something in frigate not handling those ccorrectly This is my first camera and first time using frigate so I'd rather someone else double checked things before I open issues |

I wanted to provide an update. I THINK that everything is now stable and working. My Reolink POE doorbell is recording alerts and I can scrub through the timeline and when I stop, the video plays instead of displaying continuously spinning wheel with a static blurry frame in the background. I changed the detection model which fixed the issues I was having with detected alerts. I also set the Intel QuickSync preset individually for each camera as most are h265 except for the Reolink doorbell feed which is h264. I should note that when I'm viewing the live feed in Frigate from the Reolink doorbell camera, I'm seeing ~10% (sometimes more, sometimes less) of the frames dropped which I'd like to see closer to 0 but it's working and I can live with it for now. Like @hawkeye217 mentioned, Reolink's RTSP implementation is problematic. By comparison, I'm not seeing dropped frames on any of my other cameras. All are hardwired. RTSP is the only stream working on my Reolink POE Doorbell, I tried connecting via other protocols like HTTP and RTMP but never was able to load the stream (in Frigate or VLC). I haven't restarted Frigate in about 14 hours and there are no errors in the Frigate or Go2RTC logs. For reference, here's the relevant parts of my config.yml: Here is my docker-compse.yml: |

Describe the problem you are having
Currently in the process of getting Frigate set up and I'm having issues with my Reolink POE Doorbell. I'm coming from Blue Iris where everything has been working reliably for several years.
I have 5 other Amcrest cameras that work perfectly with no issues. The only issue is with the Reolink doorbell.
The primary issue that I'm having is that while I can view both the main and sub-streams for the Doorbell perfectly fine in Frigate, if I click on a recorded alert/detection, the clip just loads a blurry frame with a spinning circle in the middle. What makes it difficult to troubleshoot is that sometimes it works fine and sometimes it doesn't work at all. No other cameras have this issue.
When the issue is occurring, I can't view any recorded clips from the doorbell. 24x7 recording is enabled and if I scrub through the timeline, I can see the blurry images update in the preview window for my doorbell so it is recording but the videos will not play back properly.
My understanding is that the bars on the timeline correspond to the level of activity detected. Sometimes activity is being detected and other times it's barely detecting anything. I'm not sure if this is related but I'm just trying to solve one problem at a time.
