Agent Office is an open-source AI assistant that runs natively inside Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Instead of just answering questions in a browser, it directly reads, edits, formats, and creates charts in your live documents.

Everything runs locally in a single add-in: chat UI (WebView2), tool calling, session storage, and cost tracking. The only data leaving your machine goes directly to your chosen LLM endpoint.

Installation

  1. Download and run AgentOffice-1.0.0.msi.
  2. Open Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.
  3. In the sidebar, click the settings icon, add your API key, and you're ready to go.

(Note: On first launch, click "Install" on the standard Office publisher prompt).
