This update contains 45 changes.

Breaking Changes

  • Playlist embeds now have buttons. They also show data about first track of their playlist and users can interact with buttons on them.
  • New: Use /replay and replay button to replay the currently playing track back from the top.
  • /search now has buttons. It has also been optimized to work faster.

Technical Changes

  • A new event has been added to force clear intervals.
  • New error embeds are added to music commands to warn users about restricted track error, third-party package failure and more.
  • Download button has been completely removed.
  • New functions in separated files have been added to optimize the bot to work faster. Due to this change music files length has been reduced. Here are the new files:

Error embeds will now be handled in a separated file to optimize the bot.
Queue creation process will now be handled in a separate file to optimize the bot.
Music embeds footers will now be handled in a separate file to optimize the bot.
Music buttons creation process will now be handled in a separate file to optimize the bot.

  • A bug with /favorite which didn't allow users to remove a track from their own playlist has been fixed.
  • ytdl-core package has been replaced with @distube/ytdl-core package.
  • Readme has been updated.

Notifications Changes

  • Interval timer of some notifications has been increased to avoid duplicated messages.

Visual Changes

  • /filter has been updated. Now users are able to interact with filter menu multiple times within one embed.
  • Favorite playlist embeds icon has been changed.
  • /lyrics and lyrics button have been updated. Lyrics will no longer be cut off mid-sentence when they are shown in multiple pages.
  • /social has been updated. Instagram section has been returned and Kick.com section has been added to their embed.
  • /help has been updated.
  • A bug with /skip which didn't show the correct footer for tracks from Apple music source has been fixed.
  • /repeat now doesn't have reaction when it's triggered to turn repeat mode off.
