Apologies if I’m mistaken, but it seems that a language needs to have a code2 designation (ISO 639-1) to be used as a tagging language for posts. |
it does look like a lot of the other languages don't have a `code2` so im not too sure

Skimming through the Post Languages list in the app, it seems to be a 1:1 match with the languages that have 2-character codes. The source code also refers to code2 often. I'm not sure of the reason; perhaps it's a way to coarsely trim the language list to somewhat-commonly used ones, in lieu of a search function? |
oh i didn't know that actually, however i do not believe toki pona has a 2 character iso code. would it be possible for me to make up one to add even though it isnt standardized? i have my eye on |
2 character codes are not assigned anymore... if the software can't handle them that's a bug. |

Asturian language is also affected by this bug. Our locale is "ast" |
