What's New

Analyze Panel

  • Parallel video analysis — multiple clips are now analyzed concurrently using ThreadPoolExecutor, with granular per-file progress tracking
  • Auto-balance weights toggle — evenly divides 100% among enabled detectors; rebalances automatically as detectors are toggled on/off
  • Processing rate & ETA — status bar shows realtime processing speed and estimated time remaining during analysis
  • Frame preview — live thumbnail from the current analysis position, displayed alongside the file list
  • File status list — per-clip progress indicators (pending, analyzing, completed) in a dedicated panel
  • Skipped detector warnings — orange warning label when a detector is skipped due to missing dependencies (e.g. onnx_clip not installed)
  • Help text — explanatory descriptions for detector weight and threshold sliders
  • Splitter layout — settings and progress areas in a resizable vertical splitter for better use of space
  • Next button gating — Next is disabled on the Analyze tab until analysis completes

Review Panel

  • Table view — segments displayed in a proper table with columns: Include, File, Start, End, Duration, Score, Detectors
  • Detector tags — each segment shows which detectors contributed (Scene, Motion, Audio, etc.)
  • Sorted segments — segments are sorted by filename then start time for easier scanning

Dependencies

  • Semantic detector now works — onnx_clip and onnxruntime installed via the [semantic] optional dependency group

Install

uv sync --extra semantic # for semantic (CLIP) detector
uv sync --extra emotion # for emotion (face/MediaPipe) detector
