Liana Leahy

Liana is a graduate of Smith College in Computer Science and Theatre. Since moving to Boston, her work at the Berkman Center at Harvard Law School in late 2006 introduced her to ruby on rails and includes founding the Berkman Gender and Technology Committee, organizing a Ruby on Rails Workshop for Women as well as gathering tech geeks for a newbie friendly, monthly Open Source Code Crunch promoting mixed gender collaboration.

Her work at DisruptorBeam, a social game publisher where applications receive millions of hits per day and databases process thousands of transactions per second, naturally led her to her current employer, Practically Green.
