What's new

• Gallery. A new tab shows the JPEG photos on the inserted card, grouped by day, newest first, while they are still uploading. Each photo has a status badge: in Immich, uploading, waiting, or failed. Videos and RAW files are only counted.
• Photo viewer. Click a photo to see it large. Flip through with the on-screen arrows or ← →, pick a neighbour from the strip below, press F for full screen, Esc to close.
• The gallery only reads from the card, at most three files at a time, so uploads keep their speed.

• A new icon: a flower in a ring of sync arrows, for the app, the DMG, the Windows installer and the AppImage.

What's new

• A DMG for the Mac. It opens a window with the app, an arrow and the Applications folder: drag one onto the other. The other Mac files (sd-sync-immich*) are command-line binaries and do not open as an app; SD-Sync-Immich.zip still works too.
• The first launch is blocked by macOS (the app is not notarized): open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. The DMG window says so too.

What's new

• Windows and Linux (beta). A per-user installer for Windows 10/11 (no administrator rights needed) and an AppImage for Linux x86_64: tray, window, notifications, autostart and self-update, as on macOS. Formatting a card on Windows needs the app to run as administrator; without that, the card is not formatted (and is still ejected).
• Eject and Format… on the main screen while the selected card is plugged in. Format first checks that every photo and video on the card is in Immich and erases nothing otherwise; it sits behind a full-window warning whose erase button unlocks after 10 seconds.
• Turning auto-format on now asks for confirmation, with the same 10-second wait.
• GitHub and "report a problem" links next to the version, and Quit in the sidebar.

Fixes

• macOS: a card ejected after a sync and inserted again was ignored until the app restarted, and the old "uploaded, card ejected" status stayed on screen. Every insertion now starts a sync.
• macOS: opening the app from Finder no longer exits right away.
• No highlight follows the pointer over the cards any more.

Updating: the app updates itself from v0.4.0 (Settings → Updates). New on Windows or Linux: download the file for your system above.

What's new

• A real window (Wails v3) that shows why a sync isn't running and fixes it in one click; 8 languages.
• Installs as SD Sync Immich.app; v0.3.0 updates itself into it.
• Live counts while syncing (uploaded / duplicates / errors) and in History; failed files listed per sync with "Retry failed files".
• Auto-eject after a successful upload (on by default), the Mac stays awake while syncing, a reformatted card is picked up automatically.
• Optional auto-format after upload (off by default): only after every photo and video on the card is confirmed in Immich (files in Immich's trash don't count), with a 30-second countdown you can cancel.
• Notifications with per-kind settings; "Auto" parallel uploads; forget cards the app remembers.

Install: download SD-Sync-Immich.zip, move the app to Applications and open it (see README for the first-launch Gatekeeper step).
