Codex Plus v0.1.0-preview.13
Codex Plus preview.13 adds readable diagnostics while keeping the native Codex workflow and existing worker identities.
- The existing read-only doctor accepts
--human; JSON, its schema and exit behavior remain the default. - Pages checks published-release and managed-deployment declarations independently, allowing valid release and rollout lag or rollback while rejecting contradictory guide claims.
- Runtime and reporting installers retain preview.12 validation and selection support.
- Workers, monitoring and reporting share one version, source revision and release. Components remain optional; packaging starts no monitoring or services.
Validation: 369 tests pass on Python 3.11 and 3.14; the exact 130-file inventory and worker checks pass. Two complete builds produce five identical assets. Relocated doctor/CLI and MCP initialize/tools-list checks pass with 17 monitoring and four report tools; actual preview.12 archives still verify. The guide build checks 234 links/assets/anchors and 15 current claims; browser checks cover 60 scene states and 24 guide loads across three widths.
Native plugin packaging remains deferred after a partial-fit discovery probe. The declared native compatibility baseline remains 0.162.1; bounded later native trials and real-work/long-running acceptance remain separate evidence. Existing loaded processes adopt selected files on normal reconnect; this release does not restart daemons, report servers or global MCP connections.

Install only the archives you need and verify SHA256SUMS/release.json. The source installation guide and public walkthrough describe component selection, preservation and rollback.
Codex Plus v0.1.0-preview.12
Preview.12 fixes current watch attention after explicit cancellation of a terminal source error. Error history, uncertain admission/withdrawal and unacknowledged input remain visible.
A bounded Snap OSS follow-up qualified ordinary endpoint setup and explicit cancellation of a running observer: three completed native turns, continued observation below its event limit, and no reads or callbacks after stop. The earlier 17-turn qualification and its limits remain documented.
Monitoring and reporting retain preview.11 verification/rollback support. Workers, monitoring and reporting share this single version; existing worker identities, explicit invocation and native ownership remain unchanged.
Validation: 354 passing tests, clean 129-file inventory, reproducible three-component archives and the eight-guide Pages build. The declared native compatibility baseline remains 0.162.1; the controlled 0.166.0 scenes do not establish general compatibility or long-running operation.
Managed deployment selects immutable files for new processes. Existing MCP/coordinator processes retain their captured release until normal reconnect. No daemon or report-server restart is required.
Codex Plus v0.1.0-preview.11
Explicit same-thread native-owner recovery and inspectable history.
- Adds bootstrap
owner_status, explicitowner_recover, and the operatorcodex-plus-ownerCLI. - Preserves the ownership guard, old bindings, reference identity and immutable archived history. Each endpoint recovers separately; caller and recipient failures identify the affected side.
- Refuses live helpers, active jobs, uncertain delivery, corrupt metadata and unsupported journal states. Recovery requires a fresh preview token and confirmation; it never silently retargets or replays intent.
- Retains acknowledged handling with unknown native turn completion as unknown. Existing approval preferences and worker/skill identities stay unchanged.
Validation: 351 fixture tests, inventory/whitespace gates, two identical complete release builds. The earlier seven-turn owned Codex 0.165.0 sample used invented stale state and the existing owner; final release-review hardening has fixture coverage, not a reopened native trial. Native release baseline remains 0.162.1. No daemon replacement, restart, real-session reset or long-run qualification is claimed.
All components share source 5c9ec1d. Install only the archives you need; already loaded processes adopt selected code on normal reconnect. See docs/owner-recovery.md for the contract, refusal conditions and evidence limits.
Codex Plus 0.1.0-preview.10
Codex Plus preview.10 improves returning to unfinished work while preserving the native CLI/TUI, owning daemon, 15 monitoring tools and four report tools.
- Inspect bounded reminder history and rediscover this conversation’s outgoing messages, with message kind and a quoted purpose excerpt.
- Keep acknowledged callbacks visible while their native follow-up is pending or unknown. Failed or interrupted follow-ups need attention until explicit cancellation; cancellation retains receipts and preserves native work.
- Read reported MCP versions for one already loaded conversation with the read-only doctor. Missing metadata stays unknown; reported versions do not verify payload bytes.
- Explore the five-scene walkthrough, including catch-up, plus eight HTML guides. Luna and adaptive worker identities and explicit invocation are unchanged.
Workers, monitoring and reporting share version 0.1.0-preview.10 and source 078c630. Select the optional component archives you need and verify them with release.json and SHA256SUMS.
Validation: 317 local fixture tests, clean 124-file inventory, reproducible component artifacts and candidate browser checks across 20 scene states and four viewport widths. Native compatibility retains the 0.162.1 qualification baseline; bounded owned 0.163.0 trials do not establish blanket compatibility or long unattended reliability.
Chezmoi deployment follows publication. Selection changes affect new processes; existing native/MCP/report processes are preserved and adopt selected code on normal reconnect. No daemon restart is required.
Codex Plus 0.1.0-preview.9
Codex Plus now ships workers, monitoring and reporting under one version, tag and release. Choose the component archives you need; release.json and SHA256SUMS bind all three to the same source revision.
- Watch status and detailed inspection agree about offline coordinators and expose source failures, control holds and delivery/handling receipts. Normal listing is bounded, with active/unresolved work first and explicit paginated history.
- Later checks now default to the requested delay plus up to two minutes for delivery. A ten-minute reminder no longer needs a manually supplied expiry; configured limits and explicit expiry remain enforced.
- A read-only
codex-plus-doctorreports selected manifest integrity, enabled configuration and native client/owner version evidence without starting services. - Full fixture and release validation now run automatically on Python 3.11 and 3.14. Existing worker identities, models and explicit invocation behavior are unchanged.
Validation: 303 fixture tests pass locally and in both CI jobs; independently built release bytes match; relocated monitoring/reporting MCP initialization and tool discovery report the unified version; earlier installed monitoring preview.3/reporting preview.8 artifacts remain verifiable. Public guide browser checks cover eight routes and desktop/mobile widths.
Monitoring retains its recorded native qualification baseline of Codex 0.162.1. Codex 0.163.0 is visible in diagnostics but has not been requalified by a new native model trial. Report publication remains independent of native agent ownership. Published artifacts do not change installed selections or already loaded processes; existing native daemons, report servers, journals and reports are preserved.
Codex Plus runtime 0.1.0-preview.3
Adds native multi-environment selection keyed by canonical CODEX_HOME, with shared path precedence and a read-only codex-plus-context diagnostic.
Existing explicit state/config paths remain supported. No home migration, authentication copying or native daemon restart is performed. Notification relay/hook activation remains opt-in.

codex-notify 0.1.0-preview.7
Wrap native codex agents with terminal-associated rich notifications, preserving its endpoint and new-task directory options. Explicit remote destinations, unsupported syntax and CLI utilities keep native behavior.
Validation: 56 notification tests, public bundle inventory, and stock 0.162.1 TUI / 0.163.0 daemon loopback checks, including Command Center completion with correct body/identity, no basic duplicate, and owned cleanup.

codex-notify 0.1.0-preview.6
Fix fresh wrapped Codex sessions starting in the daemon home directory instead of the local project. Pass the absolute client cwd across the explicit remote route; resolve explicit -C/--cd paths locally and preserve saved-session cwd selection for resume without an override.
Validation: 54 notification tests; real native fresh/explicit/relative/resume cwd checks across qualified version pairs; actual shared-daemon fresh-session thread-start/readback without a model turn. Native owner and configuration unchanged. Physical panel acceptance remains separate and unobserved.
