I have the same issue but with 4.14.5 after updating the default files in the General tab (don't know why I did it!). The only things in my calendar are tasks that are not in the TaskNotes/Tasks folder! So notes that are tagged as Tasks in my general Notes folder ARE found. I also lost my defined Calendar views. I had one set up for only showing my Study related tasks using a Custom User field called 'Category'. I note that when I do a search for tag:task I only get 13 returns (these are only the notes outside of the TaskNotes/Tasks folder) Something is going on with the word 'calendar' full stop. I also had a Bases query that stopped working, reported here: https://forum.obsidian.md/t/folder-named-calendar-no-longer-found-in-bases-query/121549 |
Uh oh!

ISSUE: I've updated to TaskNotes version 4.15 in Windows 11. Immediately afterward, my existing tasks displayed fine in the new calendar. Unfortunately, upon restarting the Obsidian app, the calendar became empty, and the tasks are gone from this view. The tasks still display in other views, just not in the new calendar. (My tasks are identified by tag with value "task" and stored in \Tasknotes\Tasks.)
WHAT I'VE TRIED ALREADY: Tried refreshing the cache before and after the update. Tried updating and re-saving an existing task. Tried duplicating an existing task and resaving that. None helped.
New tasks created after the 4.15 update will appear in the calendar and still show after restarting Obsidian, so new ones are fine.
Please help! Have I done something wrong, or am I describing a bug with this new update?
Thank you.
