What's new
- A real desktop app look:
- The window's title bar follows Devluma's light or dark theme.
- Page actions sit in a command bar.
- The navigation pane compacts to icons on narrower windows.
- A status bar shows how many services are running, what needs attention and the current operation.
- Dark mode is midnight blue; light mode is warm off-white.
- Overview as a map of your stack:
- Each project is a coloured line through the PHP version, web server and
.testdomain its sites use. - Shared services appear as interchanges.
- A failing service is ringed, and every line through it shows as delayed.
- Click any station or project to see its details and actions (Restart, Open in browser, Open terminal). A List view shows the same information as a table.
- Each project is a coloured line through the PHP version, web server and
- Services: the list and the selected service sit side by side, with coloured marks for the projects that use each service.
- Settings: one category at a time, Windows Settings style.
- Hosts file: only Devluma's own entries:
- Devluma now marks each of its lines with
# managed by devlumaand only ever reads or changes those lines. - The Hosts File page shows just these entries and how many others it leaves alone.
- A tagged line that points away from this computer is reported and never edited.
- Devluma now marks each of its lines with
Upgrading from 0.2.0
The hosts file's old # BEGIN Devluma … # END Devluma section is no longer used. Its lines stay in the file untouched and no longer appear on the Hosts File page. If a site needs one of those domains, Devluma adds its own tagged line, and you can delete the old section by hand. Hosts backups taken before 0.3.0 contain no tagged lines, so restoring one sets no Devluma entries.
Known limitations
- The executables are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info → Run anyway.
- On a 1000px-wide window, a line on the Overview map can pass under a web server's label.
- Redis and Memcached are not offered because there are no official Windows builds.
