Clerk 0.4

  • Simplified Clerk config around address-based endpoints.
  • Added strict api.address, mpd.address, and server.bind_to_address usage.
  • Kept local as the shorthand for the default Clerk Unix socket.
  • Removed old compatibility fallbacks while the project is still young.

Highlights

  • clerk-rofi and clerk-musiclist now use api.address instead of full API URLs.
  • clerkd now uses mpd.address for either host:port or a Unix socket path.
  • clerk-rofi now treats ui.menu as the full command and no longer uses ui.prompt or PLACEHOLDER.
  • README updated to document only the current config and runtime model.
