Highlights
Shorter JSON
Component data from JSON needs only the fields its Rust builder requires. Before rendering, the engine runs each built-in component through its struct: defaults are filled in and derived fields are computed (a score card's computed_status, a callout's type from variant, a word search's grid). Unknown fields are kept; data that does not fit is passed on unchanged.
{ "type": "score-card", "data": { "title": "Accessibility", "score": 91 } }renderreport render --typ
Writes the generated Typst source instead of the PDF, to see what a request turns into.
Fixed
- Bar charts: vertical bars stand on a shared baseline instead of hanging from the top; every series is drawn (grouped bars in legend colours), not only the first; values keep one decimal.
- Error messages: Typst errors read as message, failing component and hints instead of a debug dump with internal span ids. The CLI prints the whole cause instead of only
failed to render PDF. - Font tokens:
font.body,font.headingandfont.monoaccept a plain font name from JSON or TOML; Rust themes no longer lose their fonts in a JSON round trip. - READMEs: the crate README lists Rust 1.92, version 0.6 and 80 components; the npm README describes the CLI the package installs instead of a Node API it never shipped.
