For one year, I taught myself how to code while still pursuing my law degree, and recently I finally got the opportunity to start my journey as a junior web developer by graduating from Le Wagon's 9-week full-time intensive bootcamp. While working on teams and real life projects, I was able to enhance my HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills and learn other languages and many technologies like Bootstrap, Ruby, SQL, Heroku, and Ruby on Rails, and also boost important soft skills, such as problem-solving and critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
After Le Wagon, I started the Full Stack Open course, which introduces modern JavaScript-based web development with the focus on building single page applications implemented with React and supporting them with RESTful and GraphQL web services implemented with Node.js. The course also has parts on TypeScript, React Native, and Continuous integration, and I'm currently working towards finishing the curriculum. You can find my projects for this curriculum in my pinned repositories.
I find programming to be intellectually stimulating and challenging, and problem-solving is what draws me in. I am now excited to embark on a new journey as a developer and contribute to the ever-growing tech community :)
