Using ``` and the name of a language (in this case js), GitHub automatically applies syntax highlighting. This makes the code a lot easier to read through.

Good PR. Might as well use .ts then to set the highlighting to TypeScript.

Ah I was not aware of Typescript syntax highlighting. The PR was updated accordingly.
