Interesting ref: https://github.com/treebeardtech/nbmake , which allows to assert correct execution of a Python Notebook as if it was a pytest test.

Steps:

  • create an Alpine Docker container image, with available:
    • MEDCoupling (with its dependencies)
    • pytest
    • nbmake
    • jupyter
  • push image to an image repository (on GitHub ?) see this ref
  • configure GitHub actions by creating a GitHub workflow file
