v3.1.0
Celtrix v3.1.0
The custom stack now generates an app that already runs: frontend, API and database are
connected and checked before you write any code.
✨ New
- Database in Docker: pick Docker as the database provider and you get a
docker-compose.ymlfor PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.npm run db:upwaits until the database
is ready, and.env.examplealready matches the container. - Supabase support: server and browser Supabase clients,
DIRECT_URLfor Prisma migrations,
and the right variables filled into.env.example. - Live status screen: the generated app's welcome page shows whether the API and database
are up and lists users read from the database. - Setup guide: every project comes with a
CELTRIX_SETUP.mdwritten for the stack you
picked. - Wireframed welcome page for React, Vue, Solid, replacing the stock
Vite counter page. - Back navigation in the setup wizard: press Backspace to return to the previous step.
- Clearer progress output while the project is being scaffolded.
🐛 Fixes
.gitignorefiles are now included in generated projects. npm was stripping them from the
published package.- The Solid starter component is kept during custom scaffolding.
- React auth code is no longer added to SolidStart projects.
- Prompts no longer re-render while you type.
⚠️ Changes
- Node.js 20.19+ or 22.12+ is now required (needed by the Vite versions Celtrix installs).
- The custom stack no longer has the Auth, API and Add-ons steps. It now focuses on
frontend, backend, runtime, database and ORM.
🧪 Under the hood
- End-to-end test (
npm run test:e2e) that scaffolds a project, starts Postgres in Docker,
pushes the schema, builds the app and calls the API directly and through the Vite proxy. - New tests for the backend generator, the template manager and the package contents, plus a
package smoke test (npm run test:package).
