Security

  • rustls 0.23.43 → 0.23.45 (RUSTSEC-2026-0285). TLS 1.3 handshake
    messages were accepted across encryption-level boundaries.

Fixed

  • Context boosting no longer panics when a multi-byte character (Vietnamese
    diacritics, emoji, CJK) straddles the window around a match. The window is
    50 Unicode characters, which is identical to the previous 50-byte window on
    ASCII text. A recognizer panic in the gateway is now an HTTP 500 with an
    audit record (outcome: error) instead of a dropped connection and no
    audit line.
