With $_configuration['display_session_subscription_column'] = true, admins can unsubscribe a user from specific session courses. Re-subscribing the same user to the session re-enrolled them into those courses. The new guard ignores re-enrollments for users already in the session, preserving prior manual course unsubscriptions
