Base Image

The examples on this page are applied to the following base image, rendered in Deep:

DeepCPMatte and DeepCGrade

Because our masks are generated and applied in Deep, DeepC can grade motion blur perfectly:

Flat Masks and DeepCGrade

You can also use basic flat masks (i.e. non-Deep masks) with DeepCGrade:

DeepCPNoise and DeepCPMatte

DeepCPNoise and DeepCPMatte can also be used to mask each other. These are, of course, Deep masks, and play nicely with motion blur/transparency/etc.

DeepCPNoise in 4D

DeepCPNoise works in 4 dimensions when generating Simplex noise (i.e. "improved Perlin"). This means you can make a 3D noise mask which evolves along the 4th dimension over time:
