Errors in one place

• Where something goes wrong you now see one clear sentence instead of a wall of code, with "Details" when there is more.
• Details opens a dialog with the whole message to read and copy (with the app's version and the time), and a button that opens a GitHub issue already filled in with it.
• Errors no view caught open that dialog by themselves, and a part of the app that crashes offers a reload instead of an empty window.

Ways first, then the fix

• Tell the shot assistant what's wrong and it looks first, then offers two to four concrete ways to change the shot, its pick first. Nothing is edited yet.
• Pick one, or write your own way, and only then does it change the shot.

Faster fixes

• A fix does what you picked and nothing else: it renders once to look (once more only if the change didn't land), and names other problems instead of chasing them.
• It starts right away from the shot's code and plan, without reading them again: in our test a fix went from about a minute to under 40 seconds.
• After a fix, the shot's clip renders by itself, so Preview plays the change.

Also

• Run checks shows no before/after (it changes nothing); only a fix does.

修改更快

• 修改只做你选的那件事：渲染一次看效果（没改到位才再改一次），看到别的问题只提一句，不顺手去改。
• 直接从镜头代码和选好的改法开工，不再重复读文件：在我们的测试里，一次修改从约 1 分钟降到 40 秒以内。
• 修改完成后自动渲染镜头视频，点"预览"就是改后的画面。

其他

• "运行检查"不再显示修改前后对比（检查不改任何东西），只有修改才显示。

3D

• 3D films now render with WebGL (three.js) inside Shotloop: no Blender to install. Two 3D examples: a mechanical watch and a pin tumbler lock.
• Every 3D still gets an exposure check: blown-out whites are striped so you see them before the shot renders.

Sound

• The sound sits under the filmstrip as coloured tracks: voice-over, music, ambience and effects, each with its waveform.
• Each track has its volume in its header, heard at once while you drag; its settings open beside it.
• Play from anywhere on the tracks and the picture follows: the shot under the playhead is selected and its clip plays along.
• AI sound asks first: effects, ambience and (without a voice-over) narration, what each has now, and the feel you want.
• The voice-over is optional (off by default). With it off, the picture leads; narration added later fits the finished shots, and a line may run over a cut.
• Switching the voice-over off and on no longer re-renders anything.

Shot assistant

• The studio's AI panel is now the AI shot assistant: it works on the selected shot.
• Run checks only reviews and reports, so it is quick. Every failed check names its rule; click it to see the rule in Settings. One click asks the AI to fix what was found, with before and after.
• Replies read as formatted text.

Rules and assets

• Settings → Rules: fixed rules every video keeps, your taste (reword, switch off or add your own) and a toolbox of techniques with pictures, for 2D, 3D or both.
• The asset library has sounds (Openverse) as well as 3D models.
• Downloads from the library wait in the Queue for your approval.

Fixes

• The shot's clip and stills keep their shape when the window or panels change size.

3D

声音

• 点音轨任意位置播放，画面跟着走：自动选中播放头所在的镜头，并同步播放它的画面。
• "AI 配声音"会先弹窗确认：音效、环境音，没有配音时还有旁白；显示每项现在有什么，还可以写想要的感觉。
• 配音改为可选（默认关闭）。不开配音时画面优先；之后再补的旁白按做好的镜头长度来写，台词可以跨过剪辑点。
• 开关配音不再触发重新渲染。

镜头助手

• 工作室里的 AI 面板改名为"AI 镜头助手"，只修改选中的镜头。
• "运行检查"只检查、不修改，速度快很多。每个没通过的检查项都标出依据的规则，点一下跳到设置里的那条规则。一键就能让 AI 修复检查发现的问题，修完给出修改前后对比。
• 回复按格式显示（加粗、列表、代码）。

规则与素材

• 设置 → 规则：每个视频都遵守的硬性规则、你的品味（可改写、关闭或新增）、带示例图的工具箱，可以按 2D、3D 或全部查看。
• 素材库除了 3D 模型，还能找音效（Openverse）。
• 从素材库下载的东西会先在队列里等你批准。

修复

• 调整窗口或面板大小时，镜头视频和静帧不再被压扁或变小。

Point at it

• In a 2D shot, press the crosshair by the chat box and click a thing on a still: a headline, a chart, the Sun. The AI's fix is then about exactly that. Hovering outlines what a click would pick, and you can pick again as often as you like.

Themes

• Eight new themes: Sunset, Aurora, Royal, Terminal, Chalkboard, Mint, Blush and Slate, eighteen in all.
• The AI picks the theme by the mood of your subject, keeps one palette for the whole video, and may shade it to fit. The plan shows its pick and why; pick another and it stays yours.
• Theme menus scroll, three rows at a time.

An AI that remembers

• Settings → Memory: notes of yours that apply to every video, and lessons the AI keeps when something took it more than one try.

Studio

• The shot's code is coloured and numbered; its notes read like a page and are edited on demand.
• Drag the chat panel's edge to make it wider or narrower.
• A quieter stage, full shot titles on the filmstrip, clearer buttons, thinner scrollbars.
• The interface no longer turns blue when you click around or press ⌘A; replies, notes and errors can still be copied.

3D parts in 2D videos

• A part a flat drawing can't show (gears that mesh, a turning mechanism) can now be drawn in 3D inside a 2D shot.

主题色

• AI 按题材的情绪选主题，一集只用一套配色，还可以按题材微调。方案页会显示它选了什么、为什么；你换成别的，就按你的来。
• 主题色菜单一次显示三排，可以滚动。

AI 有了记忆

• 设置 → 记忆：你写下的要求对每个视频都生效；AI 某件事改了不止一次才对，也会记下经验。

Studio

• 镜头代码有了语法高亮和行号；镜头说明排版成可读的页面，需要时再编辑。
• 拖动对话框的边缘可以调宽窄。
• 预览区更安静，镜头条显示完整标题，按钮层次更清楚，滚动条更细。
• 随手点击或按 ⌘A 不会再把界面刷成蓝色；AI 的回复、说明和错误信息仍然可以复制。

2D 视频里的 3D 部件

• 平面画不清楚的部件（互相咬合的齿轮、转动的机构）现在可以在 2D 镜头里用 3D 来画。

More reliable

• The Chinese voice no longer hangs when its speech engine stops partway. If it can't start, it says so at once instead of waiting three minutes. Every file of the Chinese voice model is now checked when it downloads.
• Changes you make while a voice-over is being fitted (title, music, style) are no longer lost.
• Settings, projects and previews are saved safely. A crash can't leave a half-written file, and damaged settings are reported instead of quietly reset.
• The film preview shows its progress and can be stopped.
• Build progress stays accurate through long builds.
• Cancelling a job right as it starts now really stops it.
• Esc on the export confirmation closes only the confirmation.
• A project that can't be opened shows up as broken instead of disappearing.
• Errors that used to pass silently (a job that couldn't start, a rename, an autosave) are now shown.

Safer

• Shotloop opens only media and document files, and only links to the sites it uses.
• AI runs through a command-line agent now have a turn limit and a time limit, so a stuck run ends on its own.

Privacy

• The first-launch notice about anonymous usage counts is now one sentence. Details opens the full privacy notice, also linked from Settings → General.

• 通过命令行 agent 运行的 AI 现在有轮数上限和时间上限，卡住的任务会自己结束。

隐私

• Anonymous usage counts. About once a day, Shotloop sends a few numbers to oliverz.dev: the version, the chip, the interface language, and how many films were planned, built, fixed and exported (exports by visual style), with a random install ID.
• What's never sent: your projects, their names or text, your files and your API keys. No IP address is stored.
• How it's turned on and off: a notice explains this the first time you open the app, and nothing is sent until you answer it. You can turn it off there, or any time in Settings → General.
• Fix: turning alerts on or off from the bell no longer undoes settings changed elsewhere in the app.

• News story, an eighth visual style, for events that happened: a hack, a heist, a crash, a raid, a ruling. Films in this style are built for tension: a BREAKING banner, a clock that keeps running, red flashes and a shake on the big moments. Every claim carries its date and who said it, and a stamp marks what is alleged and what is confirmed. The AI picks this style when your idea is an event.
• A news toolkit for these films: a news ticker, a LIVE badge, a timeline, price charts and candles, transaction rows, a money trail that splits into thousands of wallets, a mixer, a quote typed in exactly, a headline clip, documents with redactions that lift, agency badges and about 35 icons (bitcoin, ether, USDT, hacker, bank, siren, gavel and more). It also includes kinetic type's big words and stamps, and the world map.
• Tense music: a new mood in a minor key with a driving pulse and risers into the cuts. It's the default for news films, and you can pick it in Export for any film.
• New example: "The $1.5B Bybit heist", with a voice-over. Its animations land on the spoken words.

• Chinese voice-over now uses CosyVoice 2, which sounds much more natural, and reads numbers, dates and percentages the way they're said. It downloads the first time a film speaks Chinese (about 4.5 GB, with the Python it runs on; from the faster of ModelScope and Hugging Face), with a progress bar, or ahead of time in Settings → Dependencies. It speaks more slowly than the other voices: a 40-second film takes two to three minutes to voice, and the first start on a Mac about two minutes.
• Smaller download: the dmg went from 379 MB to 275 MB.
• 2D shots render about a third faster.
• The README thanks the open-source projects Shotloop builds on, and Settings → About lists what the Chinese voice runs on.

• Voice-over. New films have one by default (the mic button on Home turns it off). The plan writes a spoken line for each shot, the voice is made on your Mac, and each shot lasts as long as its line, with the picture landing on the words. Kokoro speaks English and Chinese, Supertonic the other 12 languages. Pick and preview the voice in Export.
• Voice models download on first use, with a progress bar (English 132 MB, Chinese 147 MB, other languages 400 MB), or ahead of time in Settings → Dependencies. After that they work offline.
• Subtitles of the spoken words are added automatically, and the music dips while a line is spoken.
• Subtitle check. Before a shot renders, Shotloop checks what its subtitles would cover. A covered shot is marked in the filmstrip and its notes list what and when; fix it yourself or ask the AI, then render again. A film with covered text isn't exported.
• Five examples now have a voice-over: why the sky is blue, sunlight's trip to Earth, 1% a day, solar power and coffee.
• Home is tidier: Auto / 2D / 3D sits at the start of the idea, and the options fit on one line in every language.
• Settings → About lists every third-party component with its version and license.
• Fixed: an example with a long history could fail to open or play (a cut-off engine reply), and watching the whole film now shows that it's being put together.

• 配音模型首次使用时下载，有进度条（英语 132 MB、中文 147 MB、其他语言 400 MB），也可以在 设置 → 依赖 里提前下载。下载后离线可用。
• 字幕：自动为口播加上字幕；说话时背景音乐会自动压低。
• 字幕遮挡检查：镜头渲染前会检查字幕会挡住什么。被挡的镜头会在时间轴上标出，"说明与检查"里列出被挡的内容和时间；你可以自己改，也可以让 AI 修，然后重新渲染。还有遮挡时不会导出。
• 五个示例加上了配音：天空为什么是蓝的、阳光到达地球要多久、每天进步 1%、太阳能发电占比、咖啡从哪里来。
• 首页更清爽：自动 / 2D / 3D 放到了输入框开头，各种语言下选项都能放在一行。
• 设置 → 关于 列出了所有第三方组件及其版本和许可证。
• 修复：渲染记录较多的示例可能打不开或无法播放（引擎输出被截断）；播放整片时会显示正在合成。
