Smart Category Divider 1.2.0

Adds optional automatic categorization for newly added posts. Enable it in Tools > Category Divider.

When a new post has a title and article body, clear matches are assigned on save. Existing non-default categories are preserved. Ambiguous matches are marked Needs review in the Posts list and retried on later saves. Older posts are not automatically enrolled.

Validated with 26 existing matching/apply/undo tests plus 9 automatic-categorization tests. Installed and enabled on the site.

Smart Category Divider 1.1.0

Adds Select all, individual selection, search-result selection, bulk category choices, and live distribution counts.

Scanning now remembers your place: use Start new scan and Next batch. Adds a Settings shortcut on the Plugins page.

Includes GitHub release checks using the native WordPress auto-update setting. Future stable releases must attach smart-category-divider.zip. This does not automatically categorize new posts.

Validation: 26 matching/apply/undo tests and 8 updater validation tests passed. Requires WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 7.4+.
