v0.1.0 — ChatGPT subscription as a DSH provider
Sign in with a ChatGPT account over OAuth and use that subscription's models as
a DeepSeek Harness provider route.
Install without a build step
This release carries a prebuilt tarball, so installing it does not need pnpm's
build approval:
dsh plugin --profile <name> add https://github.com/ckanner/dsh-plugin-chatgpt/releases/latest/download/dsh-plugin-chatgpt.tgzOr install from source if you prefer to build it yourself:
dsh plugin --profile <name> add /path/to/dsh-plugin-chatgptRestart the harness afterwards: the profile is composed at startup.
What it does
- Sign in from Settings → Models, on the provider row the plugin owns. The card
shows the authorization URL, accepts a pasted redirect URL when a popup is
blocked, and afterwards reports the account rather than a token. - The account's own models appear in the model picker with the capacities and
reasoning levels the account reports. - Signing out revokes the grant at the authorization server before clearing it
locally, and says so when the server did not confirm.
Notes
- Route name is
chatgpt, notopenai: the built-in provider serves that name
and the registry refuses a duplicate. - Credentials live in
$DSH_HOME/chatgpt-subscription/, owner-only. - The route reports no prompt-cache reads, so the composer's cache-hit readout is
zero here; the other usage figures are real.
This asset is superseded — install from npm instead.
dsh-plugin-chatgpt@0.1.0 cannot load: its files list named the entry points without
the modules they import, so the package installs cleanly and then fails at import. The
version is deprecated on npm for that reason, and later releases fixed it.
Use the registry, which always resolves the current version:
dsh plugin --profile <name> add dsh-plugin-chatgpt
This release stays here as the historical record; its asset is not a working install.
