The map now checks the weather before giving directions.

  • Search with its confidence showing. Retrieval-backed answers say whether the evidence is
covered, weak, or uncovered. An uncovered search no longer presents a ranked list as an
answer; weak insertion-point matches no longer come with editing advice. When the index trails
your working tree, search_code and locate_symbol_span can use bounded, freshly read symbols,
including ones added since the last index build.
  • Ask what the index is actually serving. openlore status reports the retrieval mode, build
time, and staleness. doctor distinguishes a healthy embedding endpoint from an index with no
vectors, while index reuse checks the capability it really has. Lock contention now names the
holder and exits with an error instead of quietly producing a keyword index.
  • Connect specs to evidence. Audits can trace scenarios to reachable tests and flag scenarios
without an observable outcome. A reachable test is evidence of a path, not a claim that every
    assertion has been proved.
  • Keep change analysis close to the edit. Change-oriented tools seed from the symbols that
actually changed, so edits in a busy file do not make every neighbor look relevant. doctor
also names oversized analysis corpora before a build, and fingerprint budget reports name the
    paths that consumed the budget.
  • Give Pi a useful first glance. Its footer shows whether OpenLore is ready, building, or
degraded. Pi now starts with the lean tool set; openlore_activate_tools opens other groups on
demand. To keep every tool active from the start, set "pi": { "toolSurface": "all" } in
    .openlore/config.json.
  • Make governance practical. openlore decisions record lets CLI-only setups record decisions.
Public-surface checks can accept an intentional break with a justification and distinguish
changes used by indexed consumers from those with no indexed consumer.

Also fixed npm-aware update checks, Dart and Elixir call detection, and decision sync edge cases.

Upgrade: npm i -g openlore@3.3.0 — or openlore update.
