• A Now playing bar keeps the current video within reach while you browse Home, Search and channels.
• Press Down in the player to browse related videos. Scrolling and focus changes are smoother, and opening related videos no longer waits for every thumbnail to load.
• History saves your exact playback position, including short videos, and resumes from there when you return.
• Volume controls stay inside the video on CatosTV, and its Cast on/off switch also controls CatTube's phone casting.

The AppImage and Flatpak include mpv. The tarball uses your system's mpv and curl. Each download has a .sha256 file beside it.

• CatTube-1.0.0-x86_64.flatpak: flatpak install --user CatTube-1.0.0-x86_64.flatpak, then flatpak run io.github.coderastic.CatTube.
• CatTube-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage: make it executable and run it. mpv is inside; it needs Python 3 and curl. Works on distributions from 2024 on (glibc 2.39 or newer).
• cattube-1.0.0-x86_64.tar.gz: the app on its own with an install.sh. Needs mpv, curl and Python 3.
