Release Notes
Upgrades now reach a running session, and watch-status stops crying wolf outside your hubs.
- The plugin monitor upgrades itself. A plugin reader runs for the whole session, and the
watchers it keeps alive run its build, so after abrew upgradea session stayed on the old
build until someone ran/reload-plugins. The reader now watches the binary it was started as.
When that becomes a different confer build that can run the reader, it re-executes as it within
about 30 seconds: same process, same output, so Claude Code never sees the monitor stop. The new
build then replaces the watchers, and the reader says so once ("upgraded the plugin reader from
… to …"). Readers started by 0.8.35 or 0.8.36 need one last/reload-pluginsto get this. watch-statusoutside your hubs no longer raises a false alarm. Run from a repo that is not
a hub you joined (a project dir, say), it printed "watch []: not-watching" and advised
arming a watcher, while every watcher the agent had was healthy. Following that advice starts a
stray one. It now says there is nothing to report there and lists this session's watches (or,
with no session, every watch registered on the machine) with their live state and reader.
--checkpasses when all of them are healthy;--jsonreports them asnot-in-a-hub.
