v2.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@codewithkyle codewithkyle released this 01 Jul 18:37

⚠ New Major Version ⚠

This major update contains one breaking change. The BuildTransform() method has been simplified and no longer requires a fallback format or the source image's width & height values. By removing these parameters we can assist developers in creating (more) efficient caching mechanisms. Developers should no longer need to perform database queries, insatiate Imagick, or call unnecessary file system functions when building the transform settings array.

Fixed

  • improved BuildTransform() performance (#1)
  • fatal edge case that could occur when a machine lacked the 3rd party libraries required to generate WEBP images
  • improved TransformImage() performance

Removed

BuildTransform() no longer accepts the following parameters:
- width
- height
- fallbackFormat
