First public release of Doodle Drop: draw animated, hand-drawn doodles directly inside Adobe Premiere Pro.

Install

  1. Download DoodleDrop-v1.0.0.zip below and unzip it (close Premiere first).
  2. Windows: double-click Install-Windows.bat (if SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway).
    Mac: right-click Install-Mac.command → Open → Open.
  3. Open Premiere Pro → Window → Extensions → Doodle Drop.

Manual steps and troubleshooting are in HOW-TO-INSTALL.txt inside the zip.

What's in it

  • Animate, Frame by frame (with onion skin) and Auto outline modes
  • 8 brushes (Smooth, Marker, Pencil, Chalk, Crayon, Neon, Spray, Sketchy) with pen pressure
  • Scribble fill, hand-drawn shapes, eraser
  • Sticker border, glow and drop shadow
  • Pen-friendly zoom & pan (press and drag to zoom, hold Z / H)
  • Clear frame / Clear all, plus auto-clear after Render & place
  • Renders a transparent PNG sequence and places it on your timeline automatically

Requires Premiere Pro 2020 (v14) or newer.
