• Move hosting of example datasets and pretrained model from
  homepages.see.leeds.ac.uk (no longer available) to Zenodo. TINY10 and
  SMALL100 are recreated as subsets of LARGE2000S500, so their md5
  checksums have changed.

• Move packaging to pyproject.toml and CI from conda/mamba to uv, with
  extras (cpu, gpu-cu118, gpu-cu121, gpu-cu124) to choose the
  pytorch build, and update the pre-commit hooks. Now requires python >= 3.9
  and torch < 2.6, and esmpy must be installed from conda-forge for the
  sattiles extra.

• Use Apple Silicon GPUs (mps) when available for training and computing
  embeddings. The trainer CLI replaces --gpus with --accelerator {auto,cpu,cuda,mps} (default auto, so a GPU is now used by default) and
  --devices N.
