First release of Search Steer: control WordPress's own site search, post by post.

Features

• Hide from site search keeps a post out of every search. Set it in the editor sidebar, quick edit, or with the bulk action.
• Search keywords bring a post into the results even when its title and content don't match the search.
• Stop keywords keep a post out of the results for searches that match them, even when its title or content match.
• Whole-word or partial matching, set separately for keywords and stop keywords, and a setting for which list wins when both match.
• Keyword matches can be listed first.
• A Search column and a filter on the post lists.
• One-click import from Search Exclude, Hide from Search and Hide Posts.
• Applies to the site's search page, and optionally to REST API, AJAX and admin list searches.

Built to stay out of the way

• Only the search query is changed. Menus, archives, widgets and other loops are left alone.
• Nothing is hidden in wp-admin.
• No search index, no custom tables, no ads.

Requires WordPress 6.6 and PHP 7.4 or later.
