New

  • One-line install. npx @cortexkit/opencode-openai-auth setup finds OpenCode 1, OpenCode 2, the OpenCode desktop app and Pi on Windows, macOS and Linux, and registers the plugin. It then either connects to the optional Claustrum vault or signs you in locally. Setup refuses to change anything while OpenCode or Pi is running, and --dry-run shows what it would do without changing anything. On OpenCode 2 it tells you which login to choose, rather than writing an OpenCode 1 login that OpenCode 2 would ignore.
  • GPT-6.1 Sol gets a 500k context window, matching Codex's new default: 372k of input plus 128k reserved for output. OpenAI charges no long-context surcharge for GPT-6.1 Sol on a subscription, so the old 272k input limit no longer saves anything. GPT-5.6, GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna keep their limit.
  • In vault mode, background usage readings come from insula when it is running. Every CortexKit plugin on the machine then shares one usage reading per account, instead of each asking OpenAI separately. If insula is not running or has no recent reading, the plugin checks the account itself, as before.
  • A shorter README. Details now live on separate pages under docs/.

Fixed

  • In vault mode, the sidebar now shows each account's saved reset credits (#195). The count was read but never stored, so the sidebar left it out. Thanks to @iceteaSA for the report.
  • On OpenCode 2, sessions in different projects now spread across your accounts (#214). Each project kept its own record of which session uses which account, so sessions started in different projects at about the same time all went to the same account. One record is now shared across projects in the same server, and a session keeps its account when its project is closed or reloaded. Thanks to @chrisolszewski for the report and the reproduction.
  • Requests right after you approve the vault are no longer refused. If you approved the vault connection while OpenCode was running, requests in the next few seconds were refused as "vault unreachable" until the next background check. They are now served from the vault straight away.
  • On Windows, the plugin's private files are now readable only by you. This covers the account and token files, logs and sidebar files. Windows ignores the Unix-style permissions used before. The default Windows log file moves to its own folder, %TEMP%\opencode-openai-auth\.

Internal

  • Dependency updates. The Pi packages stay on 1.0.4: with Pi 1.1.0 the plugin fails to start, because one of Pi's own libraries is missing a function it needs.

No upgrade steps are needed.
