At the presentation worries about code breakage was voiced. I made a clang plugin to detect situations when a specialization changed the kind of a name. I ran this on quite a number of popular open source projects including boost, grpc, protobuf and some more. Exactly one instance (in boost) was found, and according to the author of that part of boost this was "probably" a bug not found by their unit tests.
