LEWGI defers this to EWG(I); when it's mature enough for library review, it can go straight to LEWG.

SG1 saw it in SAN, I provide the poll results in r1.
EWG saw it in SAN as well, after SG1, and polled a bunch as well.
SG1 had no feedback on r1 when I asked on the reflector, I expect talking to them to be a formality.
This is therefore on EWG's plate at the moment.
@tituswinters told me privately: if it makes it through EWG and is targeting 20, I'll find it a slot. Let me know after EWG polls.
I expect LEWG to agree to the changes too.
