GFM alerts are a quote kind, and a wrapped row is highlighted from its first glyph.

New

  • markdown::QuoteKind is the GFM alert a blockquote opens with — [!NOTE], [!TIP], [!IMPORTANT], [!WARNING] and [!CAUTION] survive a round trip rather than being escaped to > \[!TIP\].
  • Typing the last underscore of __bold__ makes it bold, as the last star of **bold** already did.

Changed

  • BlockKind::Quote(Text) is now BlockKind::Quote { kind, text }; a plain blockquote is kind: None.

Fixed

  • Every row of a selection across a soft wrap is covered from its first glyph, and so is anything else painted from a byte range — search and comment highlights, inline-code and chip backgrounds.
  • Typing **bold** one key at a time no longer goes italic at **bold*, leaving a stray star behind.
