When Claude Code refuses a model request as invalid, the failure now carries what the vendor said it objected to, so an owner can see the cause instead of "the request was rejected". (Cratis/StudioIssues#944)

Changed

  • The Claude Code failure reason includes a short excerpt (at most 300 characters, credential patterns removed) of the vendor's own error message from the API error body the CLI echoes, for example the tool definition or model it refused. Text outside that error body is still dropped.
