#What is the problem? Have you ever wanted to go hiking but don't know where you should look? Have you traveled to a new place and want to know what nature is around you to explore? Sweet Outdoors can help answer these questions and more! Many park websites are hard to use and not intuitive at all. Sweet Outdoors gathers all of the information you need about parks and recreational activities and presents it all in one place. It can help you figure out where you should go camping, what events are coming up, and what parks are in each state in the United States.

#What are the use cases? Because the details of campgrounds, parks, and events are scattered across the web, Sweet Outdoors aims to create one central location for campers. Whether they're experienced campers or novices, they are able to learn about parks near and far.

One potential user could be a resident of central Texas who wants to go camping over Spring Break, but didn't know what kinds of parks were nearby. They could go to our website, www.sweetoutdoors.me, and click on States in the navigation bar to see a list of all the states and their info. Clicking on Texas, they would see some information about the state, but would likely be focused on the biggest park in the state. Clicking on that park would give them more information about its location, rating, phone number and a link to the park itself for any information not immediately given.

Alternatively, a runner who loves to participate in charity marathons could go to the events tab, sort by Category, and look through any events labeled Races. The date and state of each event is readily available from our database, in case the runner has a limited geographical area. If the runner still has questions, they can email the contact information given on the event's specific page, or find the event on the table.

###Parks Our parks page makes it easy for people that are looking for parks near them. It combines all of the information you need to know at a glance. Each instance of a park includes information about the state it is in, and upcoming events in the park.

###Campgrounds Our campgrounds page is useful for people that are looking to go on a camping trip, and are curious about what amenities are available. If you're on a budget, you can look for a campground that is in your price range. More information about its location, contact information, and a link to make a reservation are also available. Nearby park(s) are listed on the campground specific page.

###States Our states page will be helpful to users that want to know how big a state is (the bigger the state, the more opportunities for parks!) and identify a highly rated park in that state. It can also help identify nearby parks or upcoming events.

###Events Our events page is great for people looking for something interesting to do. It offers several different types of activities in various locations. If you find an event you're interested in, a contact email is provided for more information.
