Codebase indexing is very slow

The code base indexing is very slow, like 50 times slower.
OS: Windows 11
Cursor version: 0.23.8

Yes I started noticing on version 21.
For example it's stuck on this file for almost 10 min now. And it's not indexing multiple files at same time anymore.

Well now it's working as before when I changed account. Weird.

I had the same problem. But when I turned off the proxy, the speed became faster, but my proxy works fine, I don't know why this would affect the cursor.

Same. After turning off the Tailscale, everything worked fine.

If a compare the same codebase on Pycharm (yes no AI), with crusor, global search speed of simple text, ie (CMD + Shift + F). Cursor can be 10 times slower or more. It's so painfull I have to go back to search in Pycharm.
