⚠ BREAKING CHANGES

• take native iOS and Android 5.0, migrate the Android plugin to built-in Kotlin, and require Flutter 3.44 (#419)

Migrating from 4.x

• Use Flutter 3.44 or later (Dart 3.12 or later). Apps on older Flutter can stay on 4.x.
• Raise your app's iOS deployment target to 15 and Android minSdk to 24, which native iOS and Android 5.0 require.
• iOS FCM apps: CioFirebaseWrapper now comes from customerio-ios, so the separate customerio-ios-fcm package is no longer used. With SwiftPM, remove customerio-ios-fcm from your Xcode project if you added it there.
• Live Activities: change the widget extension's CustomerIOLiveActivitiesTemplates and CustomerIOLiveActivitiesAttributes pods to 5.0.0 in ios/Podfile.
• CocoaPods apps: after upgrading, run pod update CustomerIO in ios/ once (FCM apps: pod update CustomerIO CioFirebaseWrapper). A plain pod install stops on the 4.x versions in Podfile.lock, and pod repo update doesn't help.
• Android: native 5.0 brings firebase-messaging 26, play-services-base 18.11 and WorkManager 2.12. If your app pins older versions of these, update them.
• The Android plugin uses AGP 9's built-in Kotlin, and it no longer triggers Flutter's "plugin applies KGP" warning on AGP 9 apps.
