Native macOS BMW diagnostics over a K+DCAN cable. No Windows or VM.

What's new

  • Fixed the "BMacW is damaged" error on launch. The app is unsigned, and the bundled BMW data used to break the ad-hoc signature seal; the build now re-signs after that data is added.
  • Themed boot splash on launch (from 0.1.2), matching the selected skin.

Install

  1. Download BMacW-0.1.3-arm64.dmg (Apple Silicon) and open it.

  2. Drag BMacW to Applications.

  3. Clear the download quarantine once (macOS blocks unsigned apps):

    sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/BMacW.app

    Or run the helper from the repo: ./scripts/install-macos.sh

  4. Open BMacW, plug in the K+DCAN cable, turn the ignition on, and pick your chassis.

The BMW EDIABAS/INPA data is bundled in the app, so it runs standalone.
