Release list
v1.2.0
Links installed plugins to the repo they came from, so checking for updates no
longer means typing a repo for each one by hand.
The official store builds every plugin from a submodule in its plugin database,
and that database records which repo each plugin comes from. Bazaar now reads
that index and matches it against the folder a plugin is installed under, which
resolves every plugin currently in the store. Anything the store has never
carried falls back to the files the plugin itself ships.
- Find repos for your unlinked plugins appears in the panel whenever
something is unlinked. One press links everything it can work out, and leaves
the rest alone. - Links say where they came from. One matched against the store's database
is taken as fact. One worked out from a plugin's own files is marked
detected, because those can still name the repo a plugin was forked from
rather than the one it is maintained in today — worth a glance, and one press
to correct. - An automatic link reports updates immediately, comparing the version on
disk against the latest release instead of waiting for you to mark which
release you are on. Any older link with no release recorded benefits too. - Plugins hosted outside GitHub are skipped rather than guessed at, and a
branch the store builds from is not mistaken for the branch releases are
tagged on.

v1.1.2
Fixes 1.0.9 being treated as newer than 1.0.10.
Releases were taken in the order GitHub returned them, which is the order they
were created rather than which version is highest. A plugin sitting on 1.0.9
could be reported as up to date with 1.0.10 already published, and the release
picker could offer an older release at the top of the list.
- Releases are now ordered by version, so the latest release is the highest
one — 1.0.10 after 1.0.9, and a pre-release before the release it leads to. - An update is only offered when it is actually newer. A release cut for an
older line no longer shows up as an update waiting to be installed. - Tags that carry no version number at all still fall back to publish date.

v1.1.1
Fixes a branch showing up empty when its releases are pre-releases.
Picking a branch hid pre-releases before it ever considered the branch, so a
branch that ships previews — a testing or beta branch, which is most of the
reason to pin one in the first place — looked like it had no releases at all,
and the dialog blamed the branch for it.
- Pre-releases are now counted per branch, and the dialog says how many it is
hiding and why instead of claiming nothing was tagged from the branch. - "Include pre-releases" is in the Add and Source dialogs, next to the branch
picker where the question actually comes up. It is the same setting as the one
in Settings, so update checks follow it too. - Flipping it is instant — every release is fetched once and narrowed on the
Deck, so neither the toggle nor the branch picker spends a GitHub request.

v1.1.0
Plugins can now follow a single branch of their repo instead of every release.
- Pick a branch when adding or re-pointing a plugin. The Add and Source
dialogs list the repo's branches, with the default branch first. Only releases
whose tag was cut from the chosen branch are offered — and every later update
check stays on that branch, so a plugin set tobetanever offers amain
release and the other way round. - Any branch is still the default, so plugins tracked before this update
keep considering every release until you narrow them down. - The panel row and the plugin's Source line now show which branch is being
followed, asowner/repo@branch.
Note that GitHub only records the branch a tag was cut from. A release tagged
straight from a commit has no branch attached and shows up only under Any
branch.

v1.0.0
First release.
Decky Bazaar lists every plugin installed on your Deck — store-sourced or
not — and keeps the ones that never went through the official store updated
from their GitHub releases.
- Add a plugin from GitHub by owner and repo rather than a URL. Paste a full
URL into either field and it splits itself across both. - Finds the release zip for you, newest first, and reads the plugin's real
name and version out of the zip before installing, so it lands under the name
Decky expects instead of a guess from the file name. - Installs through decky-loader itself — the same confirmation prompt,
unzip, remote binary download, permission fixup and hot reload the official
store uses. A zip is only accepted if it looks like a real plugin package, so
source archives and multi-plugin zips are refused with an explanation rather
than installed into a broken state. - Tracks versions and offers updates. One button re-checks every tracked
plugin against GitHub, and rows with an update waiting sort to the top. - Adopts plugins you already have. Link an installed plugin to a repo and
mark the release you are on, without reinstalling it. - Optional GitHub token to lift the 60-requests-per-hour anonymous rate
limit and reach private repos. It is stored in
~/homebrew/settings/decky-bazaar/bazaar.json, chmod'd to600.
