what is needed:

  • path to repo in filesystem → store in config.xml//params/param[@name='updateRepoDir']
  • list of tags in master for stable releases
  • list of tags with '-beta' for beta
  • list of commits in 'development' for bleeding edge
  • add to docu

This needs to be postponed to some time when eXgit s usable or another git plugin eXists

these do no work currently due to no work on
eXgit taking place and no other useable git plugin
being present at the moment.
