First release of SwanStationUWP: the SwanStation PS1 emulator as a UWP app for Xbox Series X|S (developer mode).

Highlights

  • The app follows the console's video output instead of forcing a TV mode of its own: the interface is drawn at whatever resolution the console is set to.
  • Fixed the TV-frame border being cut off at the top and bottom on Xbox: the app asks for the whole screen again and rebuilds the swap chain once the main loop starts.
  • Interface, filters and SwanStation's renderer now share one Direct3D 11 device.
  • The background behind the game is black instead of blue.
  • The app opens in about a second and a half.
  • Xbox controllers through XInput, with Xbox button glyphs in the interface.
  • Documentation rewritten for the Xbox app; the PS5 texts are gone.
