Feature request:
Add interpreter to the VM and a compile-time flag for it (e.g. TARGET_ARCH_OTHER).

Use cases:

  • CPU architectures which are not otherwise supported.
  • iOS. In iOS, applications can't write executable pages.
  • Native Client (NaCl)

The bug tracker is not a great tool to track high level project priorities. We are well aware of the benefits of adding an interpreter, but this is not currently planned.

Removed Priority-Medium label.
Added Priority-Low, NotPlanned labels.
