Not able to find the dependencies

While building this I got the following errors.

Could not resolve dependencies for project io.cdap.plugin:mysql-plugin:jar:1.3.0-SNAPSHOT: The
following artifacts could not be resolved: io.cdap.plugin:database-commons:jar:1.3.0-SNAPSHOT,

Are you trying to build from within the mysql-plugin directory? This is a multi-module project and should be built from the top level.

I tried both. When I tried from the top then it's failing at the 3rd package.

[ERROR] After correcting the problems, you can resume the build with the command
[ERROR]   mvn <goals> -rf :generic-database-plugin

Im not a developer, I did this to make it work for MySQL.
On the top-level directory, run the command.
mvn clean install

This fails at MySQL testing, but the 3rd step would be a success.

Now I switch to mysql-plugin from there I build this MySQL plugin.
mvn clean install -D maven.test.skip=true

Then it'll show build success.

Now if I build again from the top-level directory then its succeeded.
mvn clean install -D maven.test.skip=true

I don't know why this is happening, but I tried it 3 different Ubuntu servers. (JDK 1.8 and Maven 3.6)

For multi-module plugins, you shouldn't be switching to a subdirectory. It should always be built from the top level. Just run mvn clean package -DskipTests. Don't need to install anything, it will build things in the right order.

If you really would only like to build a specific module, do mvn clean package -pl [submodule] -am. -pl to specify the submodule, -am to also make dependent submodules.
