Enhancements

  • zstandard is now only a dependency on Python versions below 3.14; on Python 3.14 and
    later the standard library compression.zstd module is used instead
  • Added a direct dependency on certifi 2026.10.19 or later so that HTTPS connections
    no longer trust the compromised eMudhra intermediate CAs (emSign ECC Root CA - G3)

Bug fixes

  • Fixed the return type annotation of metadata.get_dataset_range() to include the
    per-schema ranges under the schema key
