DataFog Core 0.5.0-beta.2
Pre-releaseDeveloper integration release for Josh’s Chrome extension. Pin this prerelease exactly.
Included
- Finding sources, committed-value recall, exact remembered choices and protected-type policy.
- Combined review of scanner, recalled and manual findings. Unresolved overlaps stop handoff and return ranges for review.
- Scoped labelled account, masked account and labelled street-address detection, with SSN overlap/coverage fixes.
- Stronger encrypted browser backup exports using Argon2id (256 MiB, three passes), with legacy backup imports preserved.
- Updated implemented API declarations and clearly separated future contract proposals.
Compatibility
Opening, exporting or discarding an old vault preserves its bytes. A real approved and saved policy change can upgrade it after a warning; beta.1 cannot open upgraded policy-v2 state. Keep a recoverable backup before upgrading.
Native Python and Node workspace bindings, progressive streaming and operation history remain beta.3 work. This release includes the existing native detection SDKs; it does not advertise those future workspace methods as available. Josh’s product integration and final security review remain separate from these synthetic qualification tests.
