DataFog Core beta.3 adds the native Python and Node workspace APIs alongside Rust and WASM, including staged save/activate, recall, protected review, operation records and conversation-scoped restoration.

Streaming restoration keeps strict whole-response behavior by default. Explicit progressive mode can deliver earlier chunks and reports incomplete termination. Pending conversation handoffs reserve confirmation capacity before sending; only a trusted host's matching observed-send confirmation records issuance. Unresolved handoffs pause scoped restoration in that conversation.

Snapshots use one coordinated v3 layout across SDKs. Legacy v1/v2 reads and no-ops preserve their bytes; an approved saved upgrade creates v3 state that beta.1 and beta.2 cannot open. Back up development vaults before upgrading and pin the prerelease exactly.

Install Rust datafog-core = "=0.5.0-beta.3", Python datafog-core==0.5.0b3, Node @datafog/node@0.5.0-beta.3, or WASM @datafog/wasm@0.5.0-beta.3.

The provisional operation ceiling is 100,000 retained rows, including 256 recovery-only slots. Confirmation reservations and encoder-byte bounds can reject work sooner. Native encrypted reference hosts demonstrate CAS, crash and lost-acknowledgment behavior; production key/storage and trusted-send integration remain the host's responsibility.

Live provider marker trials, the expanded shipping detection pilot, shipping-host acceptance, CSV support and a permanent contract freeze remain follow-up work. This prerelease makes no provider-preservation or production-host security acceptance claim. Snapshot and API compatibility remain provisional.

Qualified source: 8cf399b98c3a7819878929ed56a15541f2ae5270. All twelve required native model checks and all four publishing rehearsals passed on that source. Fresh registry consumers passed Rust, Python, Node and WASM checks, typing and four-SDK parity (45 cases / 600 steps), with host/CAS/pressure profiles counted separately. Chrome and Chromium passed full workspace, restart, encrypted backup and twelve Small-model checks each with zero captured external requests or browser errors.

The attached archives are verified registry payloads. SHA256SUMS covers the fourteen SDK archives and the public source/provenance index. Stable 0.4.4 and the earlier betas remain available; npm's latest channel remains stable while beta points to this release.
